The seventh issue of the trimonthly Parayawaran Aradhana' was released by the Hon'ourable Minister of Forests U.P. on the seventh of October 2009 on the final day of the Wildlife week.
The issue is a Wildlife Special carrying highly informative articles over ''Lions'', 'Breeding of Tortoises', ''National Parks'', ''Identification of birds through their voices'', ''Species on the brink of extinction' etc, along with lucid descriptions of Dhanolti Eco Park' and ''Valleys of Sharda River'' and several effective poetic and literary presentations. The trimonthly having the literary gem of Mr. M.P. Singh, the creative genius of Mr. R.K. Dubey and the phenomenal sincerity of Mr. U.B. Tiwari in its editorial board and the environmental literacy of Mr. T.P. Dubey as the Editor has proliferated far and wide since its origin in front of a large august gathering of lovers of Forests, Environment and Biodiversity held at Lucknow on March 16, 2008. Since its Original Release the trimonthly has developed into the shape of a perpetual documentary assemblage of technical and literary matters creating mass awareness regarding Environment. The issues released so far comprise two issues specially devoted to Wild Life having special articles on 'Dolphins', 'Tigers', 'Peacocks', 'Elephants' and 'Snakes'. The magazine has found readers and authors not only in Uttar Pradesh but also in Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Bengal, Chattisgarh, Rajasthan, Delhi etc.
The Eighth Issue of the tri-monthly is expected to come out by the end of December, 2009. It would be having special articles on ''Climate Change'' ''Cheetah'',. ''The sweet singing Birds'' etc. along with travelogues, poems, stories, facts, photographs, boxes, slides etc. . The entire Paryawaran Gyan Yagya Samiti Group and the Editorial Board of the trimonthly expresses its sincere gratitude towards all the literary and technical contributors and its curious and aware readers. The group expects the same contribution and appreciation from all authors and readers in future. Herein we desire to devote ourselves to the cause of augmenting global awareness regarding Forests, Environment, Biodiversity and Ecology. |
