Paryavaran Gyan Yagya Samiti the society hosting this website is a humble organization of persons taking 'Service to the Forests is a Service to the God' and 'Service to the Tree is a Service to the Universe'. It was formed in 1999 under U.P. Societies Registration Act-1860 with an object of feeding environmental knowledge to common man in a tasteful form. All the activities of our society are conducted from the contributions made by its members. So far our group have written more than sixty books most of which has been published by our society. From July 2002 we had to close our sale counter of books and subsequently our publication work was given nearly a full stop. We run a quarterly newsletter named 'Paryavarana Aradhana' and organize 'Paryavarana Satsanga' from time to time.
There was a great demand of our published books but our inability to fulfill its supply was paining us. Present website is an effort to redress our pain. Presently in the start it is being started in English due to various reasons. We hope to bring Hindi version of the site very soon.
